Chenelle Roberts, ND, LM
Dr. Chenelle A. Roberts is the founder and medical director of Docere Center for Natural Medicine. She is currently practicing as one of the naturopathic physicians (ND) and the only licensed midwife (LM) at Docere Center. She specializes in naturopathic family medicine as Dr. Chenelle Roberts -- Patient Intakeboth a primary care and maternity care provider. Her special interests are in women's health, natural family planning, preconception and fertility, tongue tie and frenotomy, pregnancy care, midwifery and pediatrics.

Dr. Chenelle is a Seattle native and currently resides in the Loyal Heights neighborhood with her partner of nineteen years, Greg, and their beautiful boys, Jude (9) and Finn (4). Jude and Finn were both born at home. As an attachment parent, she has personal experience with extended breastfeeding, child-led weaning, cloth diapering, early elimination communication (infant potty training) and positive potty training, homemade solid foods, baby sign language and co-sleeping/family bed. She is happy to share her natural parenting philosophy with those interested. She loves to hike, take photos, camp/explore the outdoors, bike, play games and spend quality time with her family.

Education

Dr. Chenelle A. Roberts received her doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine and certificate in naturopathic midwifery from Bastyr University in 2005. She is licensed as both a naturopathic physician (ND) and licensed midwife (LM) in Washington State. Dr. Roberts received a Bachelor of Science degree in premedical studies from The Evergreen State College in 1999. In her undergraduate studies, she focused on the natural health sciences with an emphasis in the ecology and ethnobotany of the Pacific Northwest.

Nichole Burns, ND 
Dr. Nichole Burns is a naturopathic physician at Docere Center for Natural Medicine. She joined Docere Center as a ND Fall of 2013.  As a primary care provider, she appreciates the value of caring for the whole family and finds importance in treating each person as an individual on the the path to optimal wellness. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, women's health, fertility, homeopathy, botanical medicine and counseling.  Dr. Nichole also enjoys helping those combating chronic disease improve quality of life utilizing both conventional and naturopathic therapeutics.

Docere Center is one of the many clinics Dr. Nichole interned at throughout her education, with clinical hours completed in both naturopathic medicine and midwifery.  Post-graduation, she worked as a licensed medical assistant at Docere Center providing blood draws, vaccinations and medical office assistance. She has enjoyed getting to know the families of Docere Center and looks forward to continuing to develop that relationship, while welcoming more.


Education
Dr. Nichole received her doctorate of naturopathic medicine at Bastyr Univerisity.  As an undergraduate, she studies biology and pre-medicine at Seattle Pacific University.  Throughout these years, she volunteered at Harborview Emergency Department and in international medicine. 

Dr. Nichole was born and raised in the greater Seattle area and is enthusiastic about living in this beautiful city. Outside of her education, Dr. Nichole's life is characterized by a love for working with children.  As a nanny for ten years and a volunteer teacher in various capacities, she has gained extensive experience with children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.  She also enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading and traveling.  



Krystal Plonski, ND, EAMP 
Dr. Krystal Plonski, ND, EAMP is a licensed naturopathic physician and East Asian Medical Practitioner at Docere Center for Natural Medicine. Dr. Krystal loves working with infants, children, and adolescents. Her greatest reward as a doctor would be to influence this population in a positive way, and to empower a large subset of future adult patients towards health and prevention of disease.

Dr. Krystal's philosophy of medicine is to integrate both Eastern and Western therapeutics, with the foundation of her approach rooted in evidence-based conventional and Naturopathic medicine. She believes in the Naturopathic principles of "Doctor as Teacher" and "Prevention" as her primary health foundations to help educate and treat her patients, their families and the community at large.

Dr. Krystal is originally form the east coast, but has lived in Seattle since 2009 and loves to explore the outdoors via cross country skiing, hiking, surfing, sailing, and camping in a tiny traler with her husband and dog.

Education

Dr. Krystal Plonski received her Naturopathic medical degree and Masters in East Asian Medicine from Bastyr University in 2014, and completed a 2-year pediatric nationally accredited residency at Cascade Natural Medicine with Dr. Candace Aasan post-graduation. She is a Washington state licensed Naturopathic Physician and acupuncturist. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, where she majored in general biology and minored in molecular and cellular biology.

Dr. Plonski is certified in Shonishin, a non-insertive pediatric acupuncture technique, which can be used for many common childhood illnesses and conditions, including, but not limited to the respiratory, skin, neurological, and digestive systems.

Renee Beebe, M.Ed., IBCLC
Renee Beebe is board certified lactation consultant.  She is currently offering in-office lactation visits for moms and babies at Docere Center for Natural Medicine in conjunction with an onsite naturopathic physician.  These visits are billable to most insurance plans for in-network coverage.  Lactation visits at Docere are the same high-quality, no-rush consultations that Renee has been providing her clients since 1997.  She is also available for home visits and phone and skype consultations and moderates an off-site breastfeeding drop-in group every Monday morning.  For more information about Renee and her other services please visit her website at: http://www.second9months.com/.
